Blue Prints
This series started as a study, an exercise to better understand cyanotype toning and bleaching effects. This light-based technique's simplicity enables me to experiment with its ever-growing possibilities, and keeps my curiosity active and excited
These prints are sun-drenched and carry with them bright energy, I approach them in a meditional and playful manner
I start the composition with a rectangular shape, altering the exposed chemical with bleaching agents and leaving the response to the nature of cyanotype. After that initial shape, the dark blue exposed background will start a dialogue with my it, and ill respond intuitively with another rectangle in some conversation forming the composition.
I enter a meditional state
